Why We Rebranded: Full Spectrum Renovations Is Now Full Spectrum Construction Group

Full Spectrum Renovations is now Full Spectrum Construction Group. Same team. Same phone. Same Bee Ridge office. Bigger scope.

If you've worked with us before — on a kitchen, a whole-home remodel, an exterior repaint in Siesta Key, an addition in Lakewood Ranch — nothing about how we operate has changed. What's changed is the sign on the door. Here's why we did it, what stays the same, and what's actually new.

Why we renamed the company

We outgrew the word "renovations." Over the last few years, the work has shifted. We're still doing the kitchens, the bath remodels, the additions, the EPA Lead-Safe repaints we've always done — but custom home construction has become a core service, not a side project.

In the past 18 months alone we've put crews on ground-up custom builds in Sarasota County, new construction in Lakewood Ranch, coastal homes through Lee County, and projects in Cape Coral that started with a vacant lot and ended with keys in the owner's hand. Calling that company "Renovations" was confusing buyers. People searching for a Sarasota custom home builder were skipping us because the name made it sound like we only did remodels.

So we renamed it. Full Spectrum Construction Group reflects what we actually do now: the full spectrum — remodels and renovations on one end, ground-up custom homes on the other, and everything in between.

What's staying exactly the same

This is the part that matters if you're a current or past client. Read this twice if you have to:

  • Same owner. Nick Volkov is still the founder and still on every project.
  • Same crew. The carpenters, painters, project managers, and subs you've worked with are the same people, on the same payroll, with the same supervisors.
  • Same phone. (941) 287-9233. Don't update your contacts — it still rings the same desk.
  • Same office. 2937 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239. Walk in any time.
  • Same EPA Lead-Safe Certification. We're still federally certified for renovation, repair, and painting in pre-1978 homes. That doesn't transfer or expire with a name change.
  • Same 10,000+ project track record. Every job we've ever closed is still on the books. The reviews, the references, the warranty history — all of it carries over.
  • Same transparent pricing. Line-item proposals. No lump-sum surprises. No mystery allowances.
  • Same white-glove process. Same project manager assigned to your job. Same daily site reports. Same Friday walk-throughs.
  • Same partnership with Workee for digital operations and client communications. Nothing on the back end changed.

If you've signed a contract with Full Spectrum Renovations, that contract is fully honored under the new name. No re-signing. No new paperwork. No fees.

What's actually new

The new piece is full ground-up custom home construction across Southwest Florida. We've been doing it. Now we're naming it.

  • Hurricane-rated builds. Every new construction project meets or exceeds the 2026 Florida Building Code for wind, impact, and uplift — impact-rated windows and doors throughout, reinforced roof tie-downs, code-plus framing details.
  • Flood-zone-aware foundations. If your lot is in an AE or V zone, we engineer the foundation for the elevation requirement before we break ground — not as an afterthought.
  • Coastal-climate finishes. Salt air, humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms eat through the wrong materials in five years. We spec finishes that hold up in the actual Florida environment.
  • Wider service area. Sarasota County is home base, but we're active across Tampa, Orlando, Lee County, and Cape Coral. If you've got a buildable lot in SW Florida, we'll come look at it.

What this means for current and past clients

Practically? Nothing changes on your end.

  • Active project? Same crew finishes it. Same project manager. Same draw schedule. Same closeout walk-through.
  • Warranty period? Same terms. Same response time. Call the same number if something needs to be addressed.
  • Future project? Same intake process — site visit, line-item proposal, contract, build.
  • Referral? Send people to the new domain or the old one. Both will get them to us.

What to expect during the domain transition

For roughly the next 6 to 12 weeks, both spectrumrenovation.com and fullspectrumconstructiongroup.com will resolve to our site. You don't need to update bookmarks. You don't need to fix the link in your email signature. Shared links to old project pages will continue to work.

After that transition window, the old domain will automatically forward every URL — homepage, service pages, project galleries, blog posts — to its new home at fullspectrumconstructiongroup.com. Nothing breaks. Nothing 404s. If someone clicks a three-year-old link to an old blog post, it lands on the new equivalent.

Email addresses on the old domain will continue to receive mail through the full transition and forward to the new addresses after. If you've been emailing Nick or your project manager at the old domain, keep doing it — the messages still land.

Same builders, bigger scope

If you've trusted us with your kitchen, your repaint, your addition, or your remodel — thank you. We're not changing what made that work. We're just making it easier for the next homeowner — the one searching for a Sarasota custom home builder, or a Cape Coral coastal home contractor — to find us.

If you're planning a custom home in Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, or Lee County, see what we build on our Custom Homes page, or get in touch for a free walkthrough and site visit. Or just call the same number you've always called: (941) 287-9233.
